The pathology course is focused on teaching students the etiology and mechanism of human diseases. This course will bridge the basic and clinical sciences in order to help students apply basic sciences knowledge to their clinical practice.

The objective of this course is teaching students familiar with updated laboratory tests, methodology, and most importantly learns how to interpret the laboratory test results and how to correlate these results to patient care.

The objective of this course is teaching students how to integrate the knowledge learned from prerequisite courses to clinical practice. The students are worked as a team to analyze clinical history and course from selected case, and present their interpretation to the fellow students in the class which is supervised by designated faculty member in the Department of Pathology.

The students are engaged in learning what a practicing pathologist’s daily work like. The students will attend daily pathology conference and work with resident physicians to learn subjects in anatomy and clinical pathology. The students are required to present and review selected surgical or clinical pathology cases to the faculty members and medical technologists during their stay with the Department.
